ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.-Motorola Inc.’s International Cellular Infrastructure Group has appointed Paul Strzelecki vice president and general manager of Motorola’s European Cellular Infrastructure Division.
Strzelecki will be responsible for ECID’s overall business development in the digital and analog cellular communications systems and infrastructure market throughout Europe. He succeeds David Hughes, who has taken the position of corporate vice president and general manager of Motorola’s Messaging Derivatives Division in Fort Worth, Texas.
Strzelecki joins ECID from Motorola’s European Semiconductor Group, where he was vice president and regional director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, with overall European responsibility for semiconductor support for Motorola’s equipment divisions.
Strzelecki will be based at the European headquarters of Motorola’s ECID in Swindon, U.K.
