MONTVALE, N.J.-Geotek Technologies Inc. completed an agreement with Hyundai Electronics Industries Company Ltd. to manufacture and supply Frequency Hopping Multiple Access-related equipment to the Korean market.
According to the agreement, Geotek will supply FHMA technology kits to Hyundai, who will use the kits to assemble and distribute 800 MHz infrastructure and mobile terminal equipment for the Korean market.
“Hyundai is an established manufacturer of telecommunications systems with broad expertise in digital radio systems,” said Yaron Eitan, chairman and chief executive officer of Geotek Communications Inc., parent company of Geotek Technologies. “This alliance will further support our deployment of FHMA networks internationally.”
