DALLAS-PageMart Wireless Inc. introduced OmniRoam, a numeric roaming service that enables subscribers to transfer local numeric coverage using a touch-tone phone and an interactive voice response system.
To transfer coverage, OmniRoam users dial their own pager number and an access code, then enter the area code of the location where they plan to roam. The service costs $3 a month for local numeric coverage.
