NEW YORK-WinStar Communications Inc. acquired Milliwave L.P., a 38 GHz license holder for 80 markets covering 160 million people, for $40 million in cash and $75 million in stock.
The acquisition adds a new channel to 36 of WinStar’s existing markets.
