DALLAS-Northern Telecom Inc. said it placed more than 80 percent of its customer financing commitments to North American personal communications services operators with a group of more than 20 major financial institutions. The three transactions amounted to about $1.7 billion.
The placements include $1.2 billion of the Sprint Spectrum L.P. financing including the related $200 million Qualcomm Inc. financing commitment to Nortel.
