DENVER-Denver-based PageTap Inc. and Information Station Specialists of Zeeland, Mich., announced they will begin providing real-time information to travelers on the road.
By using PageTap’s PT4-R, ISS is now able to incorporate its proprietary software and firmware designs into a delivery system for highway advisory signs. When accident warnings or special alerts are needed for motorists, data is downloaded to ISS equipment through a commercial paging network. This process allows state agencies to keep motorists updated in high occurrence areas.
