STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson announced it has signed a framework agreement with Telenor Mobile AS of Norway to expand its Global System for Mobile communications 1800 MHz network, valued at about $30 million for the first three years.
The agreement is an expansion of Ericsson’s existing GSM 900 framework agreement Telenor, which plans to build a GSM 900 MHz MHz dual-band network.
Ericsson’s Norway-based company, Ericsson AS, will develop traffic steering and control between the GSM 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands with Telenor, according to the company.
