ODETICS WINS $3M IN ORDERS FROM LG

ANAHEIM, Calif.-Odetics Telecom announced it has received more than $3 million in orders for its K-Star II and PCS-GPS wireless synchronization systems from LG Information and Communications Ltd.

Odetics telecom products are used in Code Division Multiple Access base station applications to synchronize South Korea’s digital cellular telephone systems and newer personal communications systems.

LGIC’s networks rely on Odetics Telecom’s K-Star II and personal communications services-global positioning system technologies that are designed and developed specifically to provide wireless synchronization in each base station.

“Odetics Telecom has received approximately $19 million in orders form LGIC since October 1996,’ said David Scheel, general manager of Odetics Telecom.

“These continuing orders reflect LGIC’s confidence in Odetics Telecom as both supplier and partner in their expanding business.”
