WOOD BRIDGE, N.J.-Ram Mobile Data USA L.P. announced it will join with Microsoft Corp. to familiarize programmers with applications development for the Windows CE platform by distributing some 25,000 compact discs at COMDEX ’97, with Microsoft’s Windows CE Toolkit.
The CD contains programming and other information from Microsoft and Ram, as well as from Hitachi Corp., Motorola Inc., NEC Corp., Philips Electronics NV and Toshiba Corp. In particular, the disc contains Ram tools for programmers to develop applications that will allow handheld PC owners to use Windows CE-enabled devices on Ram’s wireless data network.
