SAN JOSE, Calif.-ArrayComm Inc. recently announced the incorporation of its IntelliCell Personal Handyphone System platform into the next generation of cell stations to serve Japan’s PHS network.
Manufactured by Kyocera Corp. for use by DDI Pocket Telephone of Japan, the cell stations represent the latest technological step forward for the PHS wireless service.
With the capacity enhancement of adaptive IntelliCell processing, the next-generation cell stations will address the challenges facing PHS service providers as they work to accommodate high demand, which has begun to stretch the limits of some existing networks, ArrayComm said.
