CARLSBAD, Calif.-Patrick Stephenson, a principal of Houston-based Cellular 99, bought the cellular reseller, C99 Prepaid Cellular Telephone, from Global Venture Funding Inc., both parties announced.
C99, a reseller offering prepaid services to customers with poor credit, has reseller agreements with AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and BellSouth Cellular Corp. and is an authorized licensed dealer for Aerial Communications Inc., GVF said.
Stephenson was once a consultant with GVF. GVF said it sold C99 as part of its plan to change its focus to environmental technology.
