DULLES, Va.-Orbcomm Global L.P. said it has completed satellite coverage across the Western Hemisphere, as it signed an agreement with Orbcomm de Mexico S.A. de C.V. to offer services to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Belize.
Orbcomm’s low-earth-orbit satellite system will provide services including global two-way messaging and tracking and monitoring of mobile and fixed assets. Orbcomm de Mexico, controlled by Proeza S.A. de C.V., will be headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico.
