SINGAPORE-Motorola Inc.’s Asia-Pacific Paging Networks Division announced it signed an $8 million contract with Zhejiang P & T Radio Paging Corp. for a high-speed, multifrequency, roaming paging network.
The network will cover the Zhejiang province’s 11 cities: Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Lishui, Jinjua, Quzhou and Zhoushan, said the company. The paging network will operate in the 280 MHz channel with initial capacity of 700,000 paging subscribers, Motorola said.
