SUNNYVALE, Calif.-The Personal Mobile Communications Division of Mitsubishi Wireless Communications Inc. announced it formed a business development relationship with Data on Air Inc. to expand the sales of advanced wireless products and services.
The companies plan to offer service packages to cellular carriers, which will allow them to offer end users value-added wireless data services.
Under the agreement, Data on Air will act as the service bureau for wireless carriers, operating the gateway to link the wireless network with the Internet.
In turn, Mitsubishi intends to offer the wireless devices to integrate voice and data services, such as the Mobile Access phone and the PC Connection Kit for Windows 95.
