KING OF PRUSSIA-InterDigital Communications Corp. announced Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. signed a contract with Unicom, a state-owned telephone company in China, to install a broadband Code Division Multiple Access wireless local loop system in China.
Samsung will install the system in the city of Chongqing in the first half of this year with a test operation scheduled for later this year.
