CAMARILLO, Calif.-AML Communications Inc. received a $600,000 order for satellite gateway amplifiers, with the possibility of the customer ordering up to an additional $1.2 million within 30 days.
“This order represents a new business relationship and AML’s second major order from an [original equipment manufacturer] customer serving the low-earth-orbit satellite telecommunication market,” said Jacob Inbar, chairman and chief executive officer of AML.
In related news, the company announced it is in discussions with Daewoo Venture Capital and Dynamic Solutions International to establish a joint venture in Korea focusing on wireless local loop deployment.
