PETACH TIKVA, Israel-Telecom Argentina selected InnoWave Tadiran Telecommunications Wireless Systems Ltd.’s MultiGain Wireless system for use in its rural and suburban networks in central Argentina, said InnoWave.
The contract has a potential value of $10 million, said the company.
“We first established a foothold with Telecom Argentina in 1996 when the first 10,000 MGW subscriber lines we installed were received with great satisfaction by both Telecom Argentina and its customers,” said Haim Rosen, chief executive officer of Tadiran Telecom and InnoWave’s chairman of the board. “The fact that our technology was field-proven in this marketplace before entering the latest tender competition gave us an enormous advantage.”
