MINNEAPOLIS-ADC Telecommunications Inc. said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire for about $25 million Hadax Electronic Inc. of South Hackensack, N.J. Hadax makes remote test and access systems that allow telecom providers to conduct remote testing of T1 and E1 circuits.
ADC expects take a one-time charge of an undetermined amount at closing to fund research and development. The transaction is expected to close soon.
