WASHINGTON-The Federal Communication Commission said it will re-auction 225 licenses for the 220 MHz service (220-222 MHz) on June 8. The auction is for licenses not sold in the recently concluded auction.
The proposed minimum bids for the licenses are based on the population for the regional licenses at $.013 rounded to the nearest dollar and $500 per license for the economic area licenses.
Potential bidders must submit their short form applications by May 10. Upfront payments are due May 24.
