NEW YORK-Bell Atlantic Corp.’s board of directors announced it declared a fourth-quarter dividend of 38.5 cents per outstanding share for shareholders of record Jan. 8, 1999.
The dividend will be payable Feb. 1. The company said it has about 1.1 million registered shareowners and about 1.55 billion shares of common stock outstanding.
