MICROWAVE POWER, AMPLIDYNE CANCEL MERGER PLANS

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.-Microwave Power Devices Inc. announced that it mutually agreed with
Amplidyne Inc. not to proceed with Microwave Power’s proposed acquisition of Amplidyne.
