BOSTON-American Tower Corp. said it entered into a purchase agreement to acquire approximately 75 communication sites in central and southern Illinois from Illinois PCS, a Sprint PCS affiliate.
The 75 sites, currently under construction and scheduled to be completed by the end of this year, will expand the Sprint PCS digital wireless service area managed by Illinois PCS, said American Tower.
