ATLANTA-Southern Linc introduced Informance Solutions, which includes a wireless Internet dispatching service, vehicle location service and public-safety/law-enforcement application. The My Linc business service will be available mid-November.
The Informance Solutions package is available through three Motorola Inc. Internet-ready handsets-the i1000plus, the i500plus and the new i700plus, all of which are equipped with the UP.Browser from Phone.com, said Southern Linc.
Additionally, two data-only wireless modems-the Motorola iO1000 and iM1000, and a mobile communications platform for VLS, called the Diplomat-will be available.
Unlimited access to Southern Linc’s eDispatch service is $100 per user per month, and its VLS service is $40 per user per month. Unlimited access to the PacketCluster Patrol service for the public-safety market is $75 per user per month, and Southern Linc’s My Linc wireless Internet portal is $35 per user per month for unlimited access, the company said.
