LetsTalk.com Web site launched

LetsTalk.com launched its Web site Dec. 2, offering a variety of wireless products and services in conjunction with Let’s Talk Cellular and Wireless’ 260 nationwide retail stores.

“We have seen the Internet as the best way to present information to consumers and allow them to shop whichever way they’re comfortable with,” said Brett Beveridge, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of LetsTalk.com.

Visitors to the Web site can shop by user profile (such as “road warrior”) or use a wireless adviser, which asks the consumer to answer four or five questions and then makes suggestions as to which wireless products would work best. Visitors who know what they want can go straight to their preferred product or service.

LetsTalk.com offers products and services from most of the major carriers and vendors, including AT&T, BellSouth, GTE Corp., Nokia Corp. and Ericsson Inc.

“Our big focus is on positive customer experience,” said Delly Tamer, chief executive officer of LetsTalk.com. “We want to make sure we earn the trust of our customers so they will come back to us for future needs.”

Products purchased through the Web site can be exchanged and/or serviced at any of Let’s Talk Cellular and Wireless’ retail stores. The online store, working in conjunction with the retail stores, will make returns much easier, and customers will have convenient access to loaner phones, Tamer said.

In the future, LetsTalk.com also could offer global positioning system products and services, as well as virtual office and navigational products, Beveridge said.

A nationwide advertising and promotional campaign for the Web site is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of next year.
