HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. and Austrian wireless operator One signed a contract to expand One’s Global System for Mobile communications 1800 network. The contract is valued at $145.8 million.
Nokia will supply mobile switching centers, home location registers, base station controllers and base stations. At the end of October, One had 350,000 customers.
