NEW ORLEANS-Anritsu Co. introduced the first test solution for analyzing Third Generation Partnership Program Wideband Code Division Multiple Access components and base stations with its MG3681A signal generator and MS8608A transmitter tester.
Anritsu claims the new test solution has the advanced technical capabilities necessary to measure the high bandwidth supported by 3GPP and the new architectures it will use for packet data. The company also noted that the solution is designed to comply with future phases of 3GPP development.
Both test solutions will be commercially available in March, with the first 3GPP systems scheduled to be operational by early next year.
