CALGARY, Alberta-Cell-Loc Inc. announced the U.S. patent office has allowed Cell-Loc to claim as its property the delivery of handset-based wireless location content and services over the Internet, regardless of the technological method employed.
The company said it has a similar patent pending for network-based wireless location content and services delivered over the Internet.
Cell-Loc also reported a first-quarter loss of $1.8 million, compared with a loss of $384,851 for the same time the previous year.
Cell-Loc said its migration to a wireless location service provider has resulted in substantial business development and marketing expenses.
