LOS ANGELES-SigmaOne Communications and Radix Technologies Inc. announced a joint agreement under which SigmaOne will have an exclusive license to Radix Technologies’ GeoPhone Code Division Multiple Access location technology.
The companies’ combined technologies will allow carriers to fulfill the Federal Communications Commission’s E911 mandate and allow SigmaOne to offer a variety of location-based services such as fleet management, mobile yellow pages, location-sensitive billing and driving directions.
