MUNICH, Germany-German utilities Viag and Veba are said to be in talks to sell their stakes in telecommunications interests to British Telecom.
British Telecom currently holds 45 percent of Viag Interkom, Germany’s fourth-largest wireless operator. Viag holds 20 percent of Connect Austria and 42.5 percent of Orange in Switzerland.
Viag and Veba are merging to form E.on.
