CALGARY, Alberta-Cell-Loc Inc. has initiated testing of its Cellocate System for the Global System for Mobile communications air interface, the company said.
The Cellocate System locates the position of wireless devices.
“The GSM interface will be useful as we roll out across North America, but absolutely critical as we deploy globally,” said Lew Turnquist, executive vice president of Cell-Loc.
The Cellocate System already is configured to the analog, Code Division Multiple Access and Time Division Multiple Access standards, Cell-Loc said.
