STOCKHOLM, Sweden-China’s Guangdong Mobile Communications Co. Ltd. launched a General Packet Radio Service pre-commercial network, supplied by L.M. Ericsson, designed to offer wireless data communications services to customers in the cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
The launch was held during a live demonstration in Guangzhou, where GMCC also reported that its total customer base had reached 10 million subscribers.
