NEW YORK-Global telecommunications investor Millicom International Cellular S.A. approved an amendment to its business cooperation contract in Vietnam, under which its subsidiary Comvik International AB has a revenue sharing agreement with Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services for a mobile operating company branded Mobifone.
The amendment, approved by the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Vietnam, states that MIC will now receive an additional 10 percent of revenues in years six through 10 of the contract agreement against an additional investment in network equipment.
