LONDON-Airspan Networks announced orders from six telecom companies for wireless digital subscriber line (DSL) equipment.
In Asia, Golden Cellular Communications in China purchased equipment for deployment in Golden Bridge’s data networks in the country. Indonesia’s PT Telkom is rolling out a high-speed data network. Bell Telecomm in the Philippines is extending its current contract.
In Europe, MTN, a Telia mobile affiliate, is extending its current mobile offering to include fixed wireless access. Also Vado in Austria is offering its carrier affiliates high-speed Internet access.
