ATLANTA-Communications Equipment Specialists Inc. acquired 50 percent of the equity in Towerlink L.L.C., a wireless communications infrastructure company, in exchange for the exclusive right to provide all construction services and project management, as well as all towers and associated products.
Towerlink currently works with carriers on a build-to-suit, build-to-fill and collocation basis, offering a range of customized options, including installation of third-generation wireless voice, video and data technologies.
CES recently acquired Andrew Corp.’s tower division, now known as Grasis Towers L.L.C., and said it would use its agreement with Towerlink to offer a broader range of communications services and products to the industry.
