Cisco buys CDMA technology company

SAN JOSE, Calif.-Cisco Systems further staked its position in the wireless technology market by buying Exi0 Communications for $155 million in stock.

The deal which is Cisco’s 22nd this year will close in its third fiscal quarter ending April 28.

With offices in San Jose, Calif., and Seoul, South Korea, Exi0 specializes in making wireless technologies for corporate networks based on the CDMA standard.
