WINNIPEG, Manitoba-Canadian cellular service provider Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. said it will spend $50 million to extend digital service in south and central Manitoba.
MTS also said it is preparing to launch digital personal communications services in the 1.9 GHz spectrum beginning in April, with initial PCS service in the Winnipeg area.
