SAN DIEGO, Calif.-Qualcomm Inc. has licensed GBase Communications to use its patents and technology to develop, manufacture and sell wireless infrastructure equipment.
Under the deal, GBase Communications will provide access points to private, in-building or campuswide enterprise applications using cdmaOne, cdma2000 and cdma2000 1xEV technology.
“We look forward to working with GBase Communications as they begin rolling out enterprise infrastructure equipment,” said Marvin Blecker, Qualcomm’s vice president for technology transfer.
