CANNES-Gemplus, provider of smart card-based solutions, security and wireless applications, announced an alliance with SLP Infoware, a Gemplus company that provides predictive customer relationship management solutions. Together, the companies have developed SIM card-based CRM applications.
“The inherently secure and pervasive SIM card with its standard communication infrastructure is the ideal host for customer centric applications for mobile telephony and ultimately mobile computing,” said Ron Black, vice president and general manager for Gemplus’ Next Generation Networks Division. “These applications will deliver fundamental business value for service providers, while offering utility and privacy for end users.”
