HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Networks and the Shanghai Machinery Complete Equipment (Group) Corp. will provide the city of Tianjin, China, with an 800 MHz TETRA mobile digital radio communication system for its Water Conservancy Bureau.
The network will provide digital trunking telecommunications for the flood-control information system, which covers the city and its suburbs. The network offers voice traffic and provides data communications for collection and handling of water-resource telemetry data, in conjunction with the Bureau’s signal conditioning and data acquisition system.
This is the first Nokia 800 MHz TETRA system sold in mainland China.
