STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Svenska UMTS Nat AB has selected Ericsson as the sole supplier of its UMTS network in the country.
According to the letter of intent, Ericsson will deliver and implement its advanced UMTS core radio access network equipment.
“We chose Ericsson as sole supplier because they are able to provide us with an excellent solution for a shared network,” said Henrik Ringmar, chief executive officer, Svenska UMTS Nat AB, a joint venture between Tele2 and Telia.
