KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.—Cingular Wireless signed an agreement with TruePosition Inc. in which TruePosition’s Wireless Location System will be deployed in Cingular’s network as the carrier’s enhanced 911 solution, the companies announced.
TruePosition will install its location technology in unspecified portions of Cingular’s network. The Wireless Location System uses triangulation to determine the location of a mobile phone.
