ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Mobile networking software developer Ecutel Inc. has unveiled its Viatores Secure WLAN edition, a new product for secure communication across all wireless LANs.
According to Ecutel, the Viatores Secure WLAN edition maintains uninterrupted VPN and application sessions without requiring configuration or re-boot. In addition, the solution combines mobility and security protocols to enable seamless and secure roaming from LANs to WLANs and between WLAN subnets. “With Viatores Secure WLAN edition, complex mobile computing is not only secure, it’s as easy as using a mobile phone,” commented Chuck Riegel, the company’s chief operating officer.
