LUXEMBURG—Gemplus said it partnered with Mexican operator Grupo IUSACELL to successfully trial its reusable User Identity Module (UIM), which will allow end users to roam between standards.
The similar subscriber identity module (SIM) cards allow roaming only between GSM networks.
