ALLENTOWN, Pa.-Agere Systems Inc. posted a $3.4 billion net loss for the fourth quarter ended Sept. 30.
The company, which is still owned 58 percent by Lucent Technologies Inc., said revenue plummeted by 60 percent to $600 million as against $1.5 billion in the same period last year.
