BEDMINSTER, N.J.—Verizon Wireless introduced its Mobile Web Plus service, a wireless e-mail and Internet access service for use on the Kyocera QCP6035 smartphone.
The service provides access to up to six e-mail accounts; attachment previews supporting Microsoft Word and Excel, Corel, WordPerfect and PDF files; one-tap saving of addresses and phone numbers; a browser with built-in content streaming formatted specifically for smartphones; and increased security through secure socket layer technology.
The service will come on a compact disk packaged with new handsets, or can be downloaded from Verizon Wireless’ Web site, and will be available with any digital price plan for an additional $10 per month.
