REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.—Oracle Corp. announced its Oracle 9i Application Server, along with the company’s Oracle9i Lite for wireless devices, now allows users to centrally manage both online and offline mobile applications.
“Oracle has been helping leading companies successfully deploy and manage offline mobile applications for years,” said Denise Lahey, senior vice president for Oracle’s mobile products and services division. “Now that Oracle has integrated the management of those applications centrally with Oracle9i Application Server, companies can for the first time seamlessly create, run and manage mobile business applications with or without a wireless connection.”
