Vodafone subsidiaries transition to single brand

LONDON—Vodafone said adoption of the single Vodafone brand by Portugal’s Telecel Vodafone and Spain’s Airtel Vodafone is complete, ahead of the original early 2002 schedule. Both companies supported the single brand through advertising campaigns.

Vodafone said the subsidiaries can now benefit from brand advertising, media buying, global products and services branding and advertising, and associated marketing activities.

Vodafone’s global brand migration plan was introduced last year. Other Vodafone subsidiaries in Europe and Egypt are set to migrate to the single brand during the next 12 months.
