ALBANY, N.Y.—IWO Holdings Inc., which provides wireless service under the Sprint PCS brand name in the northeast, reported $32.2 million in revenue for the third quarter, compared with $17.3 million posted last year. Net loss also increased from $12.8 million, or 42 cents per share, to a loss of $18 million, or 48 cents per share.
The carrier added 23,234 net subscribers during the quarter, bringing its customer base to 125,832 subscribers. Customer churn increased from 2.04 percent during the second quarter to 2.45 percent, with average revenue per user rising from $56 to $56.60.
