HALLETTSVILLE, Texas—The Texas Association of Paging Services (TAPS) announced it has upgraded its network by installing backup Internet computers on one of its satellite channels and completing negotiations for another back-up satellite channel.
TAPS now has coverage in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico and Arkansas and said it is actively seeking to expand its network by adding nationwide affiliates to its 152.480 MHz band and by building out local UHF, VHF and 900 MHz systems.
