HELSINKI, Finland, and SINGAPORE—Thailand’s Advanced Info Service (AIS) announced separate agreements with Finnish company Comptel and U.S.-based Convergys.
AIS has purchased Comptel’s MDS mediation and provisioning system for the operator’s existing GSM network and its future General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
In addition, AIS signed a contract with Convergys for its Geneva revenue management software. Convergys said the contract is its largest Geneva license to date, although it did not disclose financial details.
